What it is

A focused, low-commitment review of how you test today. We look at your test strategy, tools, automation, coverage, test data and CI/CD integration, and hand you evidence-based findings and a prioritised roadmap of what to improve first.

The broader review covers eight QA dimensions:

• Process & methods: test process in your delivery model, entry and exit criteria, defect management, testable requirements
• Test case portfolio: design quality, coverage of risks and requirements, redundancy, traceability
• Test automation: automation rate and candidates, framework design, stability, run time, maintenance
• Test data & environments: availability, provisioning, masking, refresh and ownership; environment stability
• Tooling & CI/CD: tool landscape and integrations, pipeline integration, licence utilisation
• Reporting & KPIs: metrics and dashboards, release decision support, transparency for management
• People & operating model: roles and skills, collaboration with development, business and vendors, training, test centre of excellence

How we score

Each dimension is scored on a five-level maturity scale, from initial (ad hoc, dependent on individuals) through managed, defined and measured to optimizing (continuous, data-driven improvement). Every score is backed by evidence from interviews, documents and measured data.

Does your test actually verify anything?

Where test cases are part of the question, we also check whether they verify the business result, not just that a screen opened. An automated scan of the agreed scope and a risk-based expert review flag missing, trivial, disabled or echo-only verifications, flaky and never-failing tests, hard-coded waits and hard-coded test data.
